Hey – I’m glad you are visiting my site.
You won’t need your credit card or check book since there isn’t anything for sale here. Since we don’t have cable or DSL at our new digs in Woodland, I needed to have a stable email address and a place to show off some turned wood art along with some of Metta’s quilts and news about the family and grandkids.
If you are wondering about the name of the site, here is a little history of how it came to be. Shortly after I began the hobby of woodturning, I brought some of my latest work to a gallery on the Big Island of Hawaii that had sold a number of my pieces. When I asked for advice on pricing, she rattled off some prices that prompted my response “you can’t charge that much, nobody even knows who I am”. She replied, “that’s not true, there was someone here last week asking if I had any new work by the Jim guy”.
